Summer Employment at the Bar D Chuckwagon in Durango, Colorado.
Most employees are seasonal.

2020 season is May 26 through September 26.

Wages vary according to position and seniority.
All employees must have a valid drivers license and transportation to
8080 County Rd 250, Durango, CO .

With few exceptions, we work weekends.

All employees follow a specified "cowboy" dress code in view of customers.

Temp grounds and cleanup --- pre-season
grounds and facility cleanup, fixup, and prep
cleaning everything and raking pine needles is a large part of the job
Shifts are 9-5 Monday through Thusday April 1 through mid May--weather dependent

Food Service
includes prep, cooking, baking, dishwashing, cleaning, grounds, parking, & serving
all employees work all positions
the morning shift starts at 8:00 a.m. for 2-4 hours
evening shifts start between 4:00 - 6:30 p.m. according to assignment
evening shifts end between 9:00 and 9:30 pm when all jobs are finished
Some employees work split shifts - morning and evening.

Shop sales clerk
sales, stocking, cleaning, inventory, serving food, and checkout.
Shifts are 5:00 to 9:00 pm

taking reservations and working with the reservations
database for phone and online reservations.
computer, conversational, and organizational skills are required.
Training will be provided. A technical aptitude is essential.
Shifts range between 8:00 a.m. thru 8:00 p.m. daily.

greeting customers and selling tickets in the ticket booth.
Skills in hospitality and proficient operation of the POS computer system are required.
Training will be provided. A technical aptitude is essential.

Shifts are 4:30 to 8:30 pm
